BEAVER SPRINGS — A century of volunteer service will bring generations together this weekend as the Beaver Springs Fire Company celebrates its 100th anniversary. Organizers say festivities run from 4 to 9 p.m. at Spring Township Community Park, where the original Firemen’s Carnival began.
Members will escort the company’s historic hose cart to the park at 3:30. The restored hose cart will be displayed, along with anniversary merchandise. Free firehouse hot dogs and birch beer will also be served. The Modern Outlaw Band performs throughout the evening, with fireworks scheduled for 9 p.m.
