DANVILLE — Historic passenger train rides will be part of the Danville Heritage Festival on Saturday, September 12. The Danville Business Alliance says North Shore Railroad is bringing its America 250 locomotive to town.
Four excursions will leave from Danville Middle School throughout the day, beginning around 10 a.m. Each ride will travel about 30 minutes toward Bloomsburg before returning to Danville.
Tickets are about $20 per seat, with young children riding free on an adult’s lap. The festival also includes reenactors, walking tours, vendors, food, and family activities. More information and tickets are available at northshorewarehouse.com/danville.
