MILTON — Two drivers suffered minor injuries on Interstate 80 in Turbot Township, Northumberland County. State police say the crash happened around 1:15 a.m. near mile marker 215, after the crash, the road was blocked for several hours.
Police say Jahsir Mitchell of Williamsport rear-ended a truck while both vehicles traveled west. Mitchell’s car crossed both lanes, struck a guide wire, and stopped on the shoulder. Mitchell was not taken to a hospital, an unidentified 17-year-old Bellefonte driver was taken to Geisinger Medical Center.
Police cited Mitchell for driving at an unsafe speed. The younger driver received a written warning involving junior license eligibility.
