TOWANDA — A former Southern Columbia and Penn State football player will serve nine to 24 in prison months for a fatal ATV crash. The Press Enterprise reports that Julian Fleming of Elysburg was sentenced for involuntary manslaughter and DUI. Police say Fleming was drinking before the , 2025 crash in Bradford County.
His girlfriend, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd of Bloomsburg, died after the ATV struck a deer. Neither Fleming nor Boyd wore a helmet, and Fleming’s blood alcohol level was point-one-one-eight percent. The sentences will be served at the Bradford County Jail, he must also pay fines, funeral costs, and complete community service.
