Mount Carmel Township Paving Planned Next Week
MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP — PennDOT is planning paving next week on Route 54 and Brennans Farm Road in Northumberland County. Work is planned Monday, July 6, Wednesday, July 8, and Friday, July 10. PennDOT says crews will pave Route 54 on Monday and Friday between Route 61 and Brennans Farm Road.
Paving on Brennans Farm Road is scheduled Wednesday between Route 54 and Navada Drive. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane with flaggers from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. PennDOT says work should be finished Friday, July 10, weather permitting.
Routes 11/15 Paving Starts Next Week
SHAMOKIN DAM — Night paving is planned on a section of Routes 11/15 in Snyder County next week. The work zone runs from Susquehanna Valley Mall Drive in Monroe Township to Eighth Street in Shamokin Dam. From Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10, crews will make base repairs and adjust manhole covers.
PennDOT says traffic will use alternating lane restrictions with flagging from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Milling work is scheduled to begin Sunday, July 12, and continue Sundays through Thursdays overnight. PennDOT says paving is expected to continue into September, weather permitting.
