A 13-year-old Mifflinburg girl was seriously injured in an ATV accident on Wednesday. State police say the girl was a passenger on an ATV traveling on Reber Road in West Buffalo Township when she was ejected from the vehicle. The girl was not wearing a helmet and struck asphalt. She was taken by Life Flight helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center, where she was treated for serious injuries. Three other children on the ATV, a 15-year-old driver and two other passengers, ages 9 and 10, were not injured.
