SHAMOKIN — The News Item is reporting… Shamokin Police Department is asking residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity following a rash of vehicle break-ins. Police say the department received multiple reports of vehicles being broken into and nights.
Most of the vehicles were parked in the Bunker Hill section of the city and unlocked. The News Item say there is not a full list so far of the type and number of articles stolen from the vehicles. Residents are encouraged residents to lock their vehicles.
