VALLEY TOWNSHIP — State police in Montour County are investigating after animals were found inside the condemned Danville Suites.
Police say the building at 37 Valley West Road was condemned because of health risks, and people and property had to be removed.
, state Police say they received a report of barking dogs believed to be inside the building. Troopers found 3 dogs and 1 cat inside locked rooms.
Police say 2 dogs and 1 cat had no food or water. Another dog had some food, but no water.
Dollar General in Montandon donated food and water for the animals. Anyone with knowledge of the owners or these pets is asked to call state police
