RIVERSIDE — Riverside Boro Life is planning a full-day America 250 celebration at the Danville Airport. Organizers say the event begins at 11am with an opening ceremony.
Pastor Shawn McNett from Strawberry Ridge Trinity UCC will take part in the ceremony. The Honor Guard from Danville American Legion Post 40 will also participate.
The family-friendly celebration includes food vendors, a flea market, historical exhibits, bounce houses, a scavenger hunt, and a Chinese auction. Live music, DJ entertainment, and a car show will continue through the afternoon and evening.
Organizers say a grand pyro-musical fireworks display is planned for 9:30pm. Sponsors, food vendors and craft vendors are still being accepted.
