KRATZERVILLE — The Kratzerville Volunteer Fire Company is celebrating 75 years of service with a community day . A brief anniversary ceremony will be held at noon, featuring fire company history and presentations from local legislative leaders and county commissioners.
The day will include fire trucks and equipment, fire safety demonstrations, food stands, raffles, 75th anniversary items, racecars, and a large inflatable fire truck slide for children.
The first 50 kids in attendance will receive a free gift bag. Local fire companies, scouts, Selinsgrove Little League, the Dairy Princess, and other groups are also taking part. The event runs from 10am to 2pm at the fire hall on Fire Hall Road, just outside Selinsgrove on Route 204.
