MILTON — Residents across the Susquehanna River Valley are being encouraged to rediscover local attractions during Backyard Tourism Week next month.
The Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau says the free event runs June 1 through 5 and highlights trails, waterways, shops, restaurants and family destinations across Northumberland, Snyder, and Union counties.
Special events include free whoopie pies June 3, free hot dogs and children’s STEM activities June 5, plus a weeklong raffle featuring prizes from local businesses. Organizers say residents can also stop by the visitors bureau in Milton for maps, brochures, and trip ideas. More information is available at Visit Central PA
