DEWART — Firefighters from several departments battled a multi-building fire afternoon along Route 405 just south of Dewart. The Standard-Journal reports crews were dispatched around 3:45pm after a shed caught fire on the property.
Emergency radio reports indicate the flames spread from the shed to two nearby buildings. Firefighters from the Warrior Run area, White Deer Township, and Milton responded to the scene.
The Standard-Journal reports Route 405 was closed while crews worked to contain the fire. Additional information was not immediately available night.
