SELINSGROVE — Susquehanna University celebrated its Class of 2026 Saturday as 537 graduates received degrees during commencement ceremonies in the Garrett Sports Complex.
University officials say more than 4,000 people attended the ceremony, which also honored keynote speaker and alumna Amy Murphy with an honorary degree. Murphy, co-founder of Philadelphia’s Arden Theatre Company, encouraged graduates to embrace curiosity, vulnerability, and risk-taking as they move into the future.
University President Jonathan Green also challenged students to confront global issues, including artificial intelligence, with both caution and creativity. Officials say the ceremony marked Susquehanna’s 168th commencement.
