DANVILLE — The Danville Area Community Center and Penn State Extension are launching a free nutrition education program starting . The program is for limited-resource families and caregivers.
Organizers say the Nutrition Links classes will teach healthy eating, meal planning, food safety, and smart grocery shopping while helping participants prepare affordable meals at home.
Classes will run , 13, 18, and 20 from 6:30pm to 8pm at the DACC. Participants who complete the program will receive free kitchen tools and be entered into a Ninja Blender raffle.
Adults qualifying for programs like SNAP, WIC, free school lunches, or food pantry assistance may participate. More information is available at danvilleacc.com.
