DANVILLE — A Cooper Township, Montour County man escaped safely Friday afternoon after fire tore through his mobile home along Adams Drive. The Press Enterprise reports Edward Falton reported the fire shortly before 2pm and tried to smother the flames before escaping.
Firefighters from about 10 departments responded to the three-alarm blaze. Crews searched the home after neighbors feared Falton might still be inside. One firefighter suffered a leg injury and was taken away by ambulance.
