THOMPSONTOWN — A 35-year-old man died after an early morning mobile home fire on Oakhurst Lane in Delaware Township, Juniata County. Emergency dispatch reports crews were called out shortly before 4am, finding a working fire with a victim trapped inside.
Thompsontown Volunteer Fire Company says firefighters entered through the front door and located the man inside the burning home. State police say he was rushed to a medical center but later died from his injuries.
Multiple mutual aid companies assisted while air medical crews stood by during the response. The Juniata County Coroner and state police fire marshal were called to the scene. The cause remains under investigation.
