SUNBURY – The Daily Item reports a Sunbury man will go to trial in June, charged with sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl. The newspaper reports 46-year-old Michael Bishop appeared in court Monday. Jury selection is scheduled for June 8 and trial begins June 9. Bishop is charged with felony counts of aggravated indecent assault of a child for the alleged incidents in 2019 and 2020.
