LEWISBURG — A Lewisburg man is accused of pointing a gun from a rooftop during an early morning disturbance. The Standard Journal reports the incident unfolded around 1:30am April 11 on South Fourth Street.
Police say 20-year-old Dakota Englehardt struggled with officers and tried to flee on foot. Authorities say he resisted commands before being restrained against a vehicle.
According to the affidavit, officers recovered what appeared to be a handgun from his waistband. Investigators say it was later identified as a Glock-style BB gun.
The Standard Journal reports witnesses claimed the suspects used racial slurs and made threats. Court records show Englehardt faces multiple misdemeanor charges, with a preliminary hearing set for May 28.
