BLOOMSBURG — A community event in Bloomsburg aims to help seniors stay safe from scams and fraud. Montour Township Police and the Attorney General’s Office are hosting a prevention program on . The event runs from 1pm to 2pm at the Montour Township Municipal Building on Jackson Street.
Officials say the session will focus on common scams targeting seniors, including phone, online, and financial fraud. Attendees will learn how scammers operate, how to spot warning signs, and how to protect personal and financial information. Organizers say the event is free and open to the public.
