LEWISBURG — The Food Hub at The Miller Center is expanding its impact after receiving new grant support from WellSpan Health and Geisinger.
Officials say the funding will help sustain and grow efforts addressing food insecurity across Union, Snyder, and Northumberland counties. The Union-Snyder Community Action Agency operates the hub, which has distributed over 200,000 pounds of food since 2021 .
Organizers say services include an emergency pantry, mobile distributions, and partnerships with more than 40 local programs. A free pop-up produce stand begins , offering fresh food Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm at the Miller Center in Lewisburg. More info at union-snydercaa.org/foodhub.
