SHAMOKIN — A Shamokin man is behind bars for his part in a riot involving about 15 people at Claude Kehler Community Park. The News Item reports that 19 year old Desmond Noll faces charges of rioting, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. Shamokin police said that Noll and 22 year old Lennie Rodriguez, were the lone two adults involved in the altercation. The approximate 13 other people involved were juveniles. Police said that they were dispatched to the park around 6:30 p.m. on March 31. Noll was arraigned on April 9 and remanded him to county jail in lieu of $7,500 straight cash bail.
