HARRISBURG — WHTM reports Treasurer Stacy Garrity is intensifying criticism of Governor Josh Shapiro over a past sexual harassment allegation involving a former advisor. Garrity claims Shapiro fostered a culture of misconduct and failed to act quickly.
WHTM reports the case involved former aide Mike Vereb, who resigned in 2023 after an accusation. The state later reached a $295,000 settlement with the accuser. Shapiro’s campaign calls Garrity’s attacks hypocritical and says she is a desperate candidate trailing far behind in fundraising.
