SELINSGROVE — A Snyder County man is jailed after firing multiple shots into a Monroe Township home evening. 33-year-old Joshua Barnhart of Shamokin Dam faces attempted homicide and several related charges.
State police say Barnhart went to a Stetler Avenue home, pounded on the door, then fired several rounds near a window where a woman was standing. Investigators say no one inside the home was injured.
PennLive reports, troopers say Barnhart told them he fired after seeing a woman point a rifle at him. Authorities say three children were inside the home at the time. Police say Barnhart is jailed on $200,000 bail.
