HARRISBURG — Trout season opens statewide , bringing anglers back to streams, lakes, and rivers across the region. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission says the annual opener is one of the most popular outdoor traditions.
Officials say anglers 16 and older must carry a valid fishing license and trout permit. Licenses can be purchased online or through approved issuing agents.
