SELINSGROVE — A nationally recognized theatre leader will address graduates at Susquehanna University’s 2026 commencement ceremony. The university announced Amy Murphy, co-founder of Philadelphia’s Arden Theatre Company, as this year’s keynote speaker.
Officials say Murphy has spent nearly four decades in nonprofit theatre leadership and will also receive an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters. They say approximately 540 students will graduate during the ceremony at the Robert I. Estill Field House. University President Jonathan Green says Murphy’s leadership and commitment to education and community impact make her an ideal speaker.
