SUNBURY — Demonstrations tied to a nationwide protest movement are coming to Sunbury, Lewisburg, and Bloomsburg this weekend. Organizers say “No Kings” rallies oppose policies they describe as authoritarian and are part of a broader national day of action.
Events are planned at Riverfront Park in Sunbury, the Columbia County Courthouse in Bloomsburg, and outside the federal post office and courthouse building in Lewisburg.
Organizers say the rallies are intended to give residents a chance to voice concerns over federal policies, including immigration and government authority. They say similar events have drawn strong turnout in the region and across the country.
