DANVILLE — A Coal Township man is accused of attacking a doctor inside Geisinger Medical Center after seeking help. NorthcentralPA.com reports 48-year-old Enrique Martinez went to the emergency room asking to be committed for mental health care.
Police say a doctor determined there were no grounds for involuntary commitment. They say Martinez became upset in a waiting area, lunged at the doctor, and threw punches.
