SELINSGROVE — State police say a Snyder County business was targeted in a large, attempted wire fraud scheme. Investigators say the case remains under investigation; they say the incident was reported February 26 along Salem Church Road in Franklin Township.
State police say the victim business is Affordable Fuels in Middleburg. Authorities say the suspected fraud involved an attempted wire transfer totaling $270,000. Police say the incident is being investigated as theft by deception and wire fraud. State police say the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been announced.
