SELINSGROVE — The Daily Item reports a Sunbury woman is accused of stealing about $7,000 from a Snyder County store while employed there several years ago.
36-year-old Akysha R. Mullany is charged with felony theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Police say she stole $7,000 from Penn’s Creek Pit Stop in Center Township, where she was employed for about two years until 2021, when she was terminated.
The newspaper reports surveillance video showed Mullany completing a cash transaction and placing money from the register into her hooded sweatshirt.
