DANVILLE — Community Giving Foundation earned reaccreditation under the Community Foundations National Standards program. Officials say the designation recognizes transparency, accountability, and financial stewardship.
Foundation leaders say the review examined donor services, investments, governance, and grantmaking practices. The accreditation is awarded by the National Standards Board, a supporting organization of the Council on Foundations.
Foundation president Kara Seesholtz says the process reassures donors their charitable dollars are managed responsibly. She says the recognition reinforces the foundation’s commitment to community impact.
Officials say the foundation manages more than 400 charitable funds and nearly $100 million in assets. More information is available at www.csgiving.org
