The Daily Item reports a Sunbury man who admitted to assaulting his 5-month-old son was sentenced to 14-years in state prison. 24-year-old Jeremy Erb was charged with squeezing his infant son so hard that he broke his ribs. The newspaper reports Erb was charged after the baby was taken to Geisinger with bruises, scratches and blood in his ear. It was discovered that the baby had broken ribs in various stages of healing. Erb allegedly confessed to squeezing the baby on three different occasions.
