SHAMOKIN — The News Item is reporting… Police say a 31-year-old Reading man tied a woman to a chair at gunpoint inside a Shamokin apartment . He then stole her phone and a $3,000 lottery ticket. Shamokin police say Ryan Fishkin restrained Jennifer Conover with rope inside an apartment on North Eighth Street.
Police say he pointed a 9mm handgun at her and told her he was taking the items for 24 hours. Officers arrested him around 6:47pm on South Market Street and say they recovered a handgun and a bag containing a crystalline substance. Bail is set at $250,000; Fishkin faces felony kidnapping, robbery, and firearms charges.
