Snyder County Man Sentenced In Federal Case
WILLIAMSPORT — In Williamsport, a Snyder County man has been sentenced to federal prison on a child pornography charge. PennLive reports 29-year-old Samuel Bender II of McClure got 9 years in prison from US Middle District Judge Matthew Brann.
Prosecutors say Bender made concerning comments about recruiting future children while communicating online. PennLive reports Bender was indicted in April 2023 on five distribution counts over 9 days in December 2022. He pleaded guilty to one count last July.
