The Daily Item reports Milton police are still investigating the individuals responsible for a skimming device on a payment terminal at the Sunoco on Race Street in Milton. The newspaper reports at Wednesday night’s Milton Borough Council meeting, Police Chief Curt Zettlemoyer revealed the suspects are part of a large-scale organized group. The suspects allegedly placed a skimming device on a point of purchase February 7th and returned to retrieve the data on February 14th. Management noticed the device February 16th and turned it over to police. The newspaper reports the suspects returned on February 21 but fled on foot when they realized police were involved. They have not been located but their photos were posted on social media.
