Murder Charges Held In Sunbury Shooting Case
SUNBURY — In Sunbury, homicide charges are moving to county court in the fatal parking lot shooting. The News-Item reports 27-year-old Denarii Springs of Northumberland is accused of shooting Dayveon Creel during an August 15, 2024, confrontation.
Police testimony outlined surveillance video and witness accounts presented during a preliminary hearing Friday. The News-Item reports Springs allegedly fired through a vehicle window, striking Creel in the chest before fleeing. Springs, arrested this month in New Jersey, remains jailed without bail.
