SUNBURY — Reassessment is advancing in Northumberland County.
Northumberland County is moving ahead with a property reassessment, and officials say residents can learn more at a public meeting . They say Tyler Technologies is conducting the first countywide reassessment since 1972 to update values and fairly distribute the tax burden.
The county says data collectors will visit every property beginning in late spring, gathering exterior measurements and photographs. A meeting runs 6pm–8pm on at Warrior Run High School in Turbotville, and officials say the event will answer questions. More info at 570-988-5442 or
