Winfield Man Accused of Stalking, Tracking Ex-Girlfriend
GREGG TOWNSHIP — The Daily Item is reporting… A 37-year-old Winfield man is accused of vandalizing his ex-girlfriend’s car and secretly tracking her movements. State police say Stephen John McConnell II hid an Apple AirTag in the car’s sunroof fabric after spray-painting the vehicle and slashing its tires.
The victim, an employee at the Allenwood Federal Penitentiary, reported the incidents last year. Police say McConnell also accessed her phone and posted private messages online. He faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges. McConnell was released on $50,000 bail and faces a preliminary hearing .
