SELINSGROVE — Two men were arrested after a social media post helped police identify them in connection with a jewelry theft at the Selinsgrove Hobby Lobby.
Police say 40-year-old Nathan Neidig of Shamokin and 37-year-old Drew Hunt of Sunbury stole over $400 in jewelry on March 18 and 19. Surveillance images posted to the PSP Tips Facebook page led to multiple tips identifying the suspects.
Neidig, who has prior theft convictions, faces a felony retail theft charge. Hunt was charged with a misdemeanor. Both men allegedly concealed jewelry without making purchases and left the store. Bail for Neidig was set at $5,000 unsecured.
