LEWISBURG — Coffee is the throughline linking science, culture, and connection at Bucknell University through the Bucknell Coffee Society. University spokesman Mike Ferlazzo says the club unites students from all majors to explore the chemistry, history, and global impact of coffee.
Members host workshops, lectures, and tastings while partnering with local businesses like Culture Coffee to strengthen community ties. Society president Maya Fetzer, a 26-year-old chemical engineering and Spanish major, works with advisor Professor Kat Wakabayashi on coffee-inspired learning and research.
